My only fault was my room was directly above the disco which went on to 3am. I think this should have been mentioned when booking.

the rooms are all individually styled very comfortable we found them bigger than the norm excellent hotel a little noisy on a Saturday but anywhere you stay in Dublin is noisy on a Saturday so we did not find this a problem I would stay there again

Russell Court Dublin : Location can get noisy but this is a price of being in the city - in general very pleased with Hotel & facilities.

I stayed in this hotel only two weeks ago at the front of the hotel, looking onto the street, which even though the room was smaller was less noisier than staying at the back of hotel which is where we were this time. You would have to have severe hearing problems not to hear the thump thump music coming from the nightclub below. Our beds might as well have been in the nightclub, and believe me its far from old I am. Not to mention that on the Sunday night we were trying for 15mins at round 3am to get into the hotel, I was not happy with this either. You have a choice here, stay at front of hotel and listen to noise from street or stay at back of hotel and listen to nightclub. Personally I will not be staying here again.

this is not a hotel if your looking for peace and quiet, it is fine if you are going to be out late yourself as there is a lot of noise until the early hours of the morning. did find reception staff not very knowledgeable about the surrounding area, but overall it suited our needs completely

On arrival we found out that our rooms were damaged by rain during excessive weather the preceding week. Obviously this was a worry - however the staff ( duty manager Mary) were very helpful - they arranged alternative accommodation - looked after us in the bar and restaurant and offer a full refund for the first night - we had a brilliant trip and the manner in which the hotel sorted out this unavoidable problem was superb - I think how somebody sorts out problems sometimes tells us more about them then when everything runs well - we will be going back in December. Concerns about noise were unfounded - we're in Dublin - we maybe in our 40's but we still like to enjoy ourselves. Great location and facilities!!!

The location of this hotel is very good - walking distance to the best part of dublin as far as I am concerned. The staff was ok but I could see room for improvement. My room on the top floor was amazing but there was not hot water on any of the two days I have stayed there. The first day it did not run at all and I eventually found out that a problem with the boiler had occurred during the night but that was fixed when I called. The following day I had water but cold again - a bit offputting in that respect. The final drawback is that there are two clubs next to the hotel and the noise through the night is not annoying on the top floor as much as it would be on the other floors I suspect. Should I go back to Dublin I would probably use it again just because I liked my room a lot - hopefully the hot water problem waill be sorted by then.

A delightful old Georgian building just outside St Styephens green with good links into the main town. No need to venture to far away though as the clubs and bars within are excellent and were always full of revellers enjoying the Craic!! Highly recommend

I will always try to come back there in my visits to Dublin because the location and the price are great, but also because of the staff's kindness and the cleanliness of the room

Overall we enjoyed our stay. Our room was very big with lots of windows (bad curtains though). The combination of pipes under the floor of our room and the summer weather meant that the room was insanely hot at all times though and there was no air conditioning. We had all the windows open for that reason, which meant that at about 4am we were woken up by people falling out of the clubs below and into taxis parked just outside the hotel entrance. The full irish breakfast was ok, but i'm sure a nice cafe would do a lot better. The location was brilliant though, only 5mins from Grafton St.

Our stay at Russell Court was very good midweek. However be warned that because of the nightclub facilities it can be very noisy after midnight and beyond. Earplugs are provided, so remember to use them. Location, facilities, room, breakfast all excellent. Just a pity it wasnt Irish sessions music and then we would have enjoyed it even more.

A beautiful room - 2 double beds in twin room with fireplace & leather coach. Saturday night - noisy as there is a night club in the hotel - did not bother us though as we came in quite late. All hotels in Dublin are expensive at the weekends - so this was a good deal

Too noisy also on the weeknights, not only on the weekends as expected when we booked this hotel. It was not possible to sleep before almost 3 o'clock in the morning on the nights to Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The discoteque in the garden/backyard/ground floor of the hotel played noisy music on a very high volume. We checked in on a Sunday and stayed for five nights.

The hotel was much better than expected, had comfotable old world charm mixed with all the conveniences of a modern world, staff were warm and kind. I especially liked the arty touches taht gave the room a 'more than just a place to sleep' quality. Very magical indeed.
