Not happy with this outfit! This is not one of the premier or even 2nd string places to stay in Niagara. The pictures may hype the location but most rooms have a great view of the hotel across the street or less in the opposite direction. We arrived and were told Valet parking was the only option due to construction. Later, after waiting a considerable time for the return of the car, we decided walking would be quicker. Upon arrival we requested a cot for my daughter; we asked again the next morning as well, it never was delivered. The bathtub refused to drain, housekeeping was notified, again a no-show. I guess Canadians except standing in grey water when showering? The parking was $20 per day, when I complained I was told it was the standard rate for the area, regardless of the large sign across the street advertising $5 per day. When I pointed this out the desk operator seemed to go on the attack! We continued our stay down the street in a similar hotel (which waved the parking fee) but with a much better attitude. Still wondering if this is how other Renaissance properties treat their guest, I for one will never find out.

We were upgraded to the presidential suite and out valet parking fee was waived. The room was anything but a suite. There was no whirlpool bath, the desk was chipped, the room was small, and the sheets were stained. The room did have a great view of horseshoe falls and the upper river. Based on the price we paid for the room, we were very disappointed.

We paid for a king size-fallsview room. We got a little bit of falls and a whole lot of parking lot and trees. We asked for a non-smoking room and got a smoking room. Valet parking--but we were not told it was 20 a day until they already drove our car away. On Friday night, we got very bad advice about the fireworks. Got\\ down to the falls park--that is the best. We also were evacuated TWICE for smoke and fires and we were on the 16th floor. Lots of stair walking that night--especially after a full day of walking around. We were not in our room until 12pm. We were offered NO compensation and I still have not received a call back from the Genereal Manager about my complaint. The restaurant is GREAT--great service, great food and actually reasonably priced as far as other resaurants go. I would suggest to pay more money for a different hotel or pay less and walk the extra block.

Everything was wonderful. I think the restaurant in the hotel, Mario's had wonderful food and excelent service. The location was wonderful also. The hotel staff were so happy to answer any of our questions and made our stay pleasant.

I stayed here for one night during a road trip. To save yourself a few bucks don't bother with valet parking. It's twenty dollars a day plus tips. You can park across the street at the Casino Parkade for five dollars. There is an enclosed walkway from the Hotel to the Parkade at level 5. The breakfast buffet is great but overpriced at ten dollars. A coffee is extra at three fifty. The falls is about a ten minute walk away. The IMAX is about five minutes and a must see. The free wireless internet provided by Telus Hotspot had a weak signal but it might have just been my room location, it worked fine. I would recommend staying here. It's cheaper than the Hitlon next door haha !

it took 3 rooms before we settled in (and I have never had this experiance in all my vaction travels),that I had paid a high price for ,view of the river , and jacuzzi in the room ... I first had a room with a view of a parking garage , w jacuzzi , then they sent me to a room w a sort of view of some trees and kind of view of the river and no jacuzzi ,,finally on the 9th floor there are only 12 ,I had a jacuzzi in the room view past he filthy window a view of the river in the far far distance about 1 mile away ... but the rooms are clean and the beds are so comfortable and the staff no matter how disappointed we were tried to help us as much as they possible without attitude , hey they can only do so much if this hotel doesnt have the accomodations it falsley portrays. there are much nicer hotels we could have picked for the same price .. and in this turmoil we lost our digital camera ... we do not recommend this place ...... its dissapointing ...

Somehow, we made booked and reserved a King bed, fallsview room. When we arrived they told us they over booked their King Fallsview rooms and would give us a lower floor room, not much of a view with a 40 discount off regular rate and free valet parking. (20 savings) We went up to check out the room and we were disappointed with the view and the hotel staff made it right. She called around to various hotels and booked us a better room at the Hilton next door at the same rate we reserved. So even though we didn't stay the night we experienced enough to review. Everyone on staff were very helpful and friendly as they were able to direct and suggest activities. As someone else recommended, parking at the casino across the street is 5 instead of 20. There's an enclosed bridge connecting the casino to the hotel so you won't have to worry about the elements. If you don't mind 20 for valet parking, it is very convenient but the lot is outdoors and uncovered. So during the winter months, it will be cold and icy. They also offer a shuttle service by Embassy suites that circles the major attractions every 30 minutes and stops infront of the hotel. The hotel itself is also close enough to walk to the falls and to the Skylon tower. Access to the pool is inconvenient as you have to walk across the main lobby to get to it. Not a problem for us as we did not use the pool. Being from NY metro area, I was concerned that there is no security measures to gain access to the rooms. Anyone can come and go, but that seems to be the norm at every hotel in Niagara falls.

Some good friends of ours referred us to the Fallsview Plaza. My boyfriend and I booked a suite and it was gorgeous. We were really impressed. It had a jacuzzi and a dynamite view. There was a nice walkway to the casino. The weather was awful, so good thing the walkway was enclosed!! It was really great. It was nice being so close to Niagara Falls, and also to Clifton Hill. That is a fun area too. I recommend checking it out!The hotel was very clean and fresh. The staff was accommodating. We were quite happy with our stay.

The staff was very UNFRIENDLY and our room was beyond dirty. I complained several times and nothing happened. The staff was rude and horrible. It was a nightmare. Do yourself a favor and stay away from the Fallsview Hotel. Our beds upon arrival were Dirty. Dirty sheets and spreads with other people black hairs on them. Dirt all over the room, just a terrible experience.

The name of the hotel is very deceiving. There name and their description make you think it is the beautiful casino hotel that is next door. The room was very sticky or humid like. It was very outdated and they are doing a lot of construction next to the hotel. I had construction vehicles waking me up early the first morning, so I complained to the front desk. They did say they would take care of it . Therefore, I wasted some of my vacation time and packed up our stuff and went to front desk. They said we will give you a room on the Falls view side up, we have a room on the ninth floor available if you want that or you can wait and we will give you one higher up I told them we would wait and they could hold our luggage. Because we had reservation for several attractions and I will be back, late afternoon and we will take the higher floor. So I came back at 4pm and they gave me a room on the 5th floor. That was not higher then the ninth floor that they were going to give me in the morning and when I told them that they said that is all we have available. The location was good. But I would never stay their again. Pay the extra few dollars a night and stay at the Hilton or Ramada, that is what I will do next time. Plus they want to charge you $20 dollers day to park, park for $5 at the casino next door, theri is a walk way.

My wife and I had a great stay at the Falls View Hotel . The room was clean and comfortable and the hotel was just up the hill from the falls. Our room had a Juccuzzi for two which was perfect to relax in after walking around sight seeing all day.

The hotel was not located in the casino, as I embarrassingly found out upon check-in. Rather it was across the street, with absolutely no view of the falls (as the name indicates). Instead, the room was smaller than expected, with a view of a construction site.

The hotel room was very nice, however, we were disappointed that there wasn't a refrigerator or safe in the room. We should of went to the Perkins Restaurant across the street from the hotel, I'm sure there breakfast would have been cheaper. $20.00 for scrambled eggs and bacon is a bit much plus you have to pay extra for the coffee/juice.

The Fallsview Plaza hotel was in a great location to be able to walk to most of what we wanted to see and do in Niagara Falls. There was construction going on in the lobby area as they added a lounge/restaurant, which will be a huge improvement as there was no dining in the hotel except for the breakfast buffet. The staff's service wasn't exceptional, but we always got what we needed when we asked (the difference being that with exceptional service, you don't have to ask).

The Fallsview Plaza Hotel was a very good choice for the money. The beds were some of the most comfortable that I have experienced at a hotel. They were very friendly and went out of their way to please. The breakfast buffet was very good and priced in line with what you would pay anywhere in the area. My only complaint was that they try to have you valet park at a cost of $20.00 per day when right across the street is a parking garage that charges only $5.00 per day. Use the garage.

This hotel was very nice. Well maintained and a great value. The room was meticulous and the staff very helpful and extremely friendly. The location was convenient and attached by a walkway with the newest casino. There are great restaurants within walking distance of the hotel and the incline that takes you directly down to the Falls.
