This is a great hotel just blocks from DuPont Circle. The lobby was wonderful and the staff very friendly and attentive. My only complaint on the room was that we only got 6 or 7 channels on the TV. Also, the breakfast at Shula's restaurant downstairs was a bit iffy and overpriced, but you pay for convenience.

The hotel was nice for a quick visit to DC. The staff was friendly and the lobby was nice. The size of the room was fine but I did not get the feeling that the room was as clean as it could have been. It was a night that I wished I had brought my own sheets rather than having to worry about whether or not the ones I was sleeping on were clean. The location was great. A nice walk to Georgetown and even shorter to attractions such as the Kennedy Center. There is a fantastic fish restaurant across the street. All in all a fine experience.

The hotel was far below what I expected... the room was filthy... the wallpaper was peeling, and the mold was so thick it pushed out the wallpaper, which made me sick....

5. From: James, Rocky Hill

Very convenient location. Staff was extra friendly. Was surprised this was only a 3 star hotel. Very comparable to some 4 star hotels that I have stayed at.

The staff at the Wyndham City Center Hotel D.C in Washington are extremely friendly and helpful. However, the rooms are rather disappointing, being very small and lack basic ammenities such as minibar.

7. From: William, Easton
 Date of Stay: December, 2004
Hotel was fine except there is a $26 overnight parking fee for guests. I believe the cost for parking was outrageous. This will keep me from staying at this hotel in the future.

8. From: Manuel, Revere

Very helpful and friendly staff, great restaurant and great location. Clean facility. I will probably stay there again.

Excellent hotel - location is fantastic- convenient to George Town and National Sites.

10. From: Tim, Norfolk, Va

Other than the customer service representative not typing in our request for a king size bed, everything else was great. The location was perfect for our visit (right between the Georgetown area and downtown). The rooms were clean and quiet. A great deal for the price.

11. From: Jane, Sayville, Ny
 Date of Stay: January, 2005
The staff was extremely friendly and attentive to any request I made. Not overly friendly, but just right, so you know they were sincere when they say we hope you enjoy your stay. Beds were extremely comfortable, rooms were clean, with the exception of the rug in our room.

12. From: Jennifer, Fort Lee, Nj
 Date of Stay: January, 2005
The location is fantastic, close to Dupont Circle and close to the metro. The lobby is beautiful and full of class, but the rooms leave much to be desired. The room was very small, and the bathroom was smaller. This hotel is closer to an economy hotel than a 3 star.

13. From: Bob, Earlysville, Va
 Date of Stay: January, 2005
If sleep is desirable, one must book a room away from New Hampshire Avenue and ask to have quiet and non-bed jumping neighbors. Lots of little luxury touches, but the main luxury of having a quiet room in which one may sleep well was absent.

14. From: Lori, Mililani, Hi
 Date of Stay: January, 2005
The room that we were given had a beer bottle cap in the ceiling, the room was very hot. We were told to open the window (no screen). We heard traffic all night. The lobby was very upscale; our room was not a 3 out of 4 star room.

We would stay again great location and the staff was wonderful

The convenient location is a major attraction for this hotel. The staff was very pleasant and helpful.

It was a very good experience under the circumstances of the Inauguration. Everyone was so friendly and went out of their way to make our stay in DC easier. I'm not used to staying in a 3 star hotel so the exceptional service versus doing everything yourself was like being pampered.

18. From: Ann, Baltimore, Md
 Date of Stay: January, 2005
Hotel is desirable because it is within easy walking distance of subway, downtown Washington, Georgetown and Dupont Circle commercial areas, and centrally located in the city and metropolitan area. Staff members are friendly and helpful. I would certainly recommend it as a 3 Star hotel. I felt it was a great deal.

19. From: Richard, Pompey, Ny
 Date of Stay: May, 2005
The shower was terrible, bad shower head. Mattress was uncomfortable.

20. From: Heather, Chicago, Il
 Date of Stay: May, 2005
Over promised, under delivered. My room smelled strongly of cologne and the bulb in the bedside lamp was out. Someone left a time-sensitive letter for me and explained it to the desk staff, however I didn't get it until check out. Internet use was not complementary - not uncommon, but irritating nonetheless. I would have ordered room service, but the hours were limited.
