A very clean hotel in a fantastic location. Quite an upmarket area - felt very safe walking around & catching Metro. Great little deli next door & nice restaurants around. Room wasn't huge, but you can't expect space in Paris. Were lucky enough to have a room with a balcony where we had a great view of the Eiffel tower. Staff were quite helpful & breakfast was adequate, although the breakfast room was very small for so many guests - had to take breakfast out in the courtyard a couple of days. Would stay there again if we went back.

I had just stayed here last week and thoroughly enjoyed it. i work at a hotel i know if its good or not so heres my honest review. here are the pros and cons for this hotel: Pros: the location, its a 7 min walk to see the eifel tower, a 15 min walk to the arc triomphe, next door on the left of the hotel is a small grocery store (to buy bottled water etc), left of it is an italian restaurant. half a block on the right are 2 cafes/brasserie (cheesburgers anyone?), a block is a Metro station. The staff is wonderful, fluent in English. the rooms are very nice and kept clean. full bathtub/shower. daily housekeeping. if you get a top view, youll see the eifel tower when you wake up in the morning. there is breakfast served for 10 euros/person which includes croissants, jam, pastries, fruits, yogart, ham/cheese omelets are 5 euros extra a piece. there is an in-room safebox, to get a key you must deposit which will be returned to you at check out. Cons: i cant find anything wrong with this hotel, its just perfect in everyway, i cant seem to find any other place to stay again next time but this place. if youre one of the type that expects too much for paying nothing and likes to go dust hunting around your room instead of being outside exploring then you should consider going somewhere else. if youre the smart type like me, i can tell you this is a good deal. i guarantee it. ENJOY YOUR TRIP! =)

This was the 3rd time I had stayed at this hotel. You cannot beat the location and helpful staff. We were a group of 6 ladies and the apartment with a double room next door fit our traveling needs to a tee. The staff was friendly, spoke english and helped with all our requests. The Metro was a block away with the Open Air Bus stop perhaps 2 blocks away. The Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe were both in walking distance of the hotel. Can't get much better than this!

We were very pleased with our stay at the Elysees Union Hotel. It is in a terrific location near the Broissiere Metro Station, close to the L'Arc de Triomphe and within walking distance to the Eiffel Tower and Champs Elysees. The room was small for three people but very clean and accomodating - once you emptied your luggage and put the suitcases above the wardrobe. The staff was very nice, extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. There is a small restaurant in the basement that serves a continental breakfast. We were three adults in one room and having spoke to other guests, I understand there are small two bedroom apartments available to rent also. We have been to Europe before and found this to be better than other hotels in this price range. I would definetely stay there again and would recommend it to my friends. This is in an older building and is not a fancy - 5 star hotel but it really satisfied our needs as we did not spend much time in the room. There is a small grocery store next door and dry cleaners across the street. There is also a fabulous Italian restaurant within 100 feet of the hotel with outstanding food and also several Brasseries to choose from! A block away is a main street that has many shops where you can get anything you need. There is also a pharmacy around the corner - all this making this the perfect location to stay. The only thing that would have made it the ideal place to stay is if it had an exercise room. Aside from that it was a good, safe hotel for a great price in a great location.

THis hotel is located just 4 or 5 blocks from the Arc de Triomphe in one direction and about a 10 min. walk from the Eiffel Tower in the other direction! Great grocery right next door to hotel. we bought coffee for breakfast and the cheapest water in all Paris! Many local cafe's to pick up a quick bite. From the front door of the hotel you can see the Eiffel Tower. My husband and I took our two college age daughters. We reserved two rooms and got what you would call a suite in the US. Nice living area, kitchen, two bedrooms and two bathrooms - it was perfect for our purposes. Hotel staff spoke english and were very informative and helpful. The closest subway stop is Boissiere. Hotel is behind you as you exit. Go two blocks and take a right - you're there! We took the RER from Charles DeGaulle airport. It took about an hour with a minimum of two line changes - very easy. We read the Rick Steves' Paris 2008 before we arrived and it was the best guide in and around Paris. BEST tip from the book - go to the Orsay Museum at 5:00 pm - they let you in for free for the last hour of the day! Impressionist art is on the 2nd floor and they close that down first so head there first!!!!The best hour spent in a museum! WE did not eat at the hotel - we just went to a patisserier at the ned of the street for croissant's for breakfast in our room! We would definitly stay here again.
