The location is good, close to the subway which gives quick access to downtown, and also close to a big park and the Kaiser palace. The room was not a nice as we expected but was satisfactory. The hotel staff were very helpful.

I've never stayed at a hotel where the first and 2nd floors are offices and medical facilities and the top floors are the hotels. There was a lot of noise the first night (street repairs), 2nd night was better but still not great, the street is busy. Locations is good, close to the castle, the "inner town" is easy to get to with the subway. Staff was helpful, breakfast was good. Would I stay here again? Probably not if I had a choice, but it was OK.

Hotel Ekazent is the one of the nicest, cheaper hotels i've ever seen. In comparison to other hotels i've seen around Vienna it offers much more for a lesser fee. Though rooms are not of a very high standard, they are very spacious and clean. The TV in the room is generaly ok, however since our room was rather large and it was all the way accross the room, it was rather difficult to watch it from the bed. Besides that there were only a few minor quirks that i could mention. Like the cleaning lady once forgot to leave us any soap, and the next day we got soap but no shampoo, etc. As for the hotel employees, they are all very nice and frendly, only one of the receptionist we've met there didn't speak english, however other receptionists spoke english fluently. One of the advantages of this hotel is that it's a 2 minute walk from the Schonbrun TierGarten, the oldest Zoo in the world as well as the whole Schonbrun Park, which is a very nice place to go alone or with company. In the end the U-bahn is nearby so the whole city is at your reach in like 10-15 min.

I was in the hotel in January. It 's a nice hotel in a nice area, very close to an excellent and cheap Austrian restaurant (ask to the reception) and, of course, to Schonbrunn. The breakfast is very good and is served in a very nice room with a view of the surrounding zone. Kind people, clean and spacious room; no problems of noise since it was towards the backyards. Excellent price/quality relation.

Staff was very helpful and courteous. Room was clean and spacious. Rates reasonable. But there was much noice outside because of a nearby bar and also the tub in the bathroom was extremely small.

We found everything exactly as stated on the web: A spacious and clean room (4-bed) with a walk-in closet, furnished very practically. With open windows, street noise (and lights) presented a big problem; we would be willing to pay a little more for air conditioning or a ceiling fan, at least. Our solution: Open the windows in the evening and go for a long walk - or don't come in the summer! Parking was indeed 11 EUR per day payable to the hotel, which is a very good deal (might be more if one pays on their own).

The hotel is located in the 3rd and 4th stage of a building. Thus, it is not easy to find the hotel at all as it's in a commercial center. Only public parking : 2 hours for 4.5 euros ; 11 euros per night. Very noisy during the night. Yet, the family room was clean and confortable.

Ekazent it´s a very nice quality-price Hotel. I went with my family (4 women) and we share a room with a great view, 4 individual beds and nice bathroom-Shower inside the room. Breaksfast it´s included and it´s so good. They have a self service buffet with everything. Staff is friendly. Ask about to rent a bike over there very cheap: 3 euros for all day with lock included, and its a nice thing to do in Vienna. The hotel building it´s not new but everything is clean and service is correct. They have elevator and tram and metro station it´s around the corner, 10 minutes from city center. For what you pay you won´t find something better in Vienna. I would stay over there again. Only thing they don´t have Air conditioner if you go on sumer. Try to take a ventilator.

venere.com says they have free tickets to the Schoenbrunn Tiergarten/Zoo, but they say they no longer do. The zoo is not cheap, so this may be a big deal. The zoo is nice, though! There is an underground parking garage, which Ekazent said cost 11 Euros a day, but really it cost more like 18 a day. It's not included in the price of the room. I don't know of a good alternative, though. In the summer, with the windows open, there is a lot of road noise, trolleys and cars. Very close to Schoenbrunn, though.

As an absolute plus i would point out that it was quiet easy to find-after you exit the hiway from Salzburg/Linz there will be two-three shields which will guide you directly to the parking lot of hotel. The location it self is also comfortable i find-although it's not central there is a metro station 3 min. away,it takes 10-13 min. to get to the downtown.
