I stayed here on a Sunday evening for £40 and at this price, this place is a complete bargain. I stay at lots of London hotels for less than £50 but nowhere is this good. very clean, modern room with some space (compared to some really bad places that I have stayed at). Suspect that this place is not usually as cheap as the rooms are great. Location good too with tube about 6 minutes walk away (Bakerloo line). Highly recommended.

What a result. £44 for a night. Clean comfortable modern and included a breakfast. Staff polite and helpful.Wow. If I wanted to be critical the tv reception was not great (who cares! ) and there was a little bit of guest noise from above (lack of soundproofing). The breakfast was a basic cereal toast yoghurt tinned fruit affair but each as much as you want and at that price it was an absolute bonus. I would definitely stay here again at this price and more. Why stay at the Metropole just down the road for about 5x the price.

The hotel is approximately a 10 minute walk (depending upon how fast you walk!) from the main Edgware Road tube station. There are two Edgware Road tube stations - one on the District and Circle lines and the other on the Bakerloo line. The one on the Bakerloo line is actually one Edgware Road and is slightly closer to the hotel, the other is just off Edgware Road, but is easier to use as you can get the tube straight from Liverpool Street. The hotel is in a middle eastern residential area, absolutely no trouble at all and there are plenty of convenience shops which are cheaper than in the city centre. They are quite strict about not letting you check in until 2pm but there is a luggage room available. We had room 207 and 208 which are to the rear of the building and were therefore nice and quiet. The rooms were a good size, especially for London, and more importantly very clean. The bathroom was completely adequate and the room had a big flat panel TV and air conditioning. The breakfast, served between 7-10am is continental with all the usual cereals, juices, toast etc. Basic, but fine to set you up for the day ahead. We had no problems at all with this hotel and if you get it cheap enough it's well worth considering. The only negative would be it's distance from the attractions but we felt this was far outweighed by the standard compared to that of others which may be better located.

Excellant Hotel worth the monry spent on it. Location is a little odd, but dont be put off. ONce you are past the front door it is worth the money. The breakfast was good with a wide range of food. Location was very close to the Tube, and only a few tube stops away from the main attractions on London.

The staff are unfriendly and unhelpful. However, if you avoid them completey the hotel is fine.

although it looks somewhat shabby from the outside the rooms were pleasant, beds comfortable and the guy on reception was really helpful. Air-con remote missing but reception has a spare and will ocme and change this for you. Showers in Rooms on 4th (top) floor take ages to warm as water comes from boiler in basement - let them run for a good 5 mins!

Nice hotel pity but not a very nice location, being at the top end of Edgware Road. The area feels a bit intimidating / run down. If this hotel was further down towards Paddington it would be a great hotel. No evening meals or bar, just a continental breakfast. If you can get a room for £99 or under it is good value though.

Initial problem was that none of the London Cabbies had heard of the Hotel, plus the front is just a single shop-front and we had driven past it twice before we saw it!The "double" room was about the size of a shoe box, with not even enough room for a wardrobe, just a hanging rail bolted to the wall and, had I taken our family cat along with me, she was quite safe from being "swung" in the microscopic Bathroom. That having been said, the Receptionist was friendly, and the place was fairly clean and relatively tidy.

a great little place located conveniently to the tube. never had breakfast but there are loads of gret little places along edgeware road to grab a bite if ypo prefer a long lie in missing breakfast as we did. Great value for money for a central hotel in London in July.

Excellent value for money. The room was comfortable and clean with excellent facilities. Very convenient for all amenities albeit a short walk for tube. I was a little intimidated by the area late a night as I walked back from a meal and single people may find this difficult.

Menu for Breakfast can be upgraded to standard british, the reception is too small but doent really matter, price comparison with 5 star next door Hilton Metropole well normal rate Sterling 139 or 159 for comfort inn and walkin rate for hilton metropole approx 175 plus tax quality difference to too too much....but any way it can depand on season to season....

Great value for money hotel. If you get a room at the rear of the hotel it is very quiet considering you are in London. Excellent aircon unit in room. No evening meal available but went to local Italian restaurant, Zonzo, recommended by reception - fantastic food!

For this price £69, clean and quiet which is all that counts. Did not breakfast, to be honest did not think it would up to much for this price but I have no way of knowing.Good and well cleaned bathroom and neat room, well insulated for an unimterrupted night's sleep. It is at the farther point of Edgware, past Edgware station and not Marble Arch so keep this in mind. Staff were friendly which is always a plus.

Hotel is clean and good value at the LateRooms price of £89 which I paid. Breakfast was continental style and facilities were good. My only negative was that it was very hot, even with the heating off and windows open - not sure where the warmth was coming from but it was a bit too much...... very reasonable for the price and would use them again if needed.

The room was very nicely furnished in a modern style. Very comfortable bed and nice flat screen tv. Shower room was a good size and of a good standard. Although my room was at the front of the buiding overlooking Edgeware Road, the excellent double glazing meant that there was no noise at all. A great value clean hotel in a great location.

room 303 extremely uncomfartable and claustophobric. Really small and hot! Room was clean and bathroom was newly renovated and modern as well as very clean. Room was facing main road, therefore noisy with window open! A vbit of a walk from Edgware Rd tube station.Breakfast: low quality food and not much choice!
