The room was so bad that I left immediately. For 10 libre more, I found a decent, clean room around the corner. Worth it. I'd like my deposit back. the nice young indian man at the desk did not speak english.

Earls Court Garden is the worst place I have never seen in my life : the building is decaying from the inside to the outside. It needs and urgent and total refurbishing. Our bedroom was just above the railway tracks, where trains were circulating every two or three minutes from about 6:00 to midnight. Imagine the noise if possible. We could count each spring of the mattress and the washbasin was broken and too old to be cleaned ! Under the bed, we discovered an empty mouse trap. I cant recommend this property to anybody, despite an attractive price and an interesting location.

Apologies in delay in completing this survey, but have been traveling for 5 weeks. This hotel was DISGUSTING. Had i not already pre paid, i would NEVER have stayed there. It was filthy, with stains on walls, sheets, curtains, rusty, mouldy, dirty shower (i refused to use the shower). the 'concierge/receptionist was a chain smoker which permeated into our room (our room was on ground floor right behind/next to reception desk. Walls paper thin and heard every phone conversation and ringing of phone. i BEG your to remove this hotel from your website. It was like a hovel. Regards, Candace

WARNING WARNING WARNING. It´s the most awfull hotel we ever have been in. It´s dirty, noisy and out date. They should update their description and pictures of this hotel. There is no sattelite tv. Venere doesn´t look serious because they recomend this hotel. This hotel wants the guests to pay in advance in cash. YOU CAN`T PAY WITH CREDITCARD. NOTICE: HOTEL CLOSES AT 11 AM, AND NOT 12 AM.

This hotel was the definition of seedy. The mattresses were extremely thin, the bathroom had water all over the floor, and the furniture and decor were outdated. The walls were extremely thin, and one could hear what went on in the hall as well as outside on the street. The only redeeming qualities of this hotel were its low price and proximity to the Kensington tube station.

The owner of the hotel was very amiable and he gave the breakfast to us of all the week but the very old hotel aside from and being neglected, he was revolting! I was a piece of pie stuck to the wall and pegote of ketchup in the radiator and the dirty carpet and continued asi all the stay. A disgust!

This was the worst hotel I have ever seen in my life. The room was small, dirty, noisy with the tube running feet away from the back of the hotel. The bed was just a skeleton of spring box covered with sheet, nothing more than a torture devise. London's Public Health Authority should be paying Earls Court a visit. I guarantee that this rat hole would be close immediately. Venere should be careful as to the type of establishment its brand with which it does business. Earls Court demeans and is a liability to the great service that Venere provides its customers. Stay away from Earls Court hotel!

I would never recommend this accomodation. When I arrived (around 9pm) they had no knowledge of my reservation. It was cash only and I had to visit a bank machine. The room was disgusting, if it wasn't so late I would have seeked accomodation elsewhere. We tried our best not to use the public washroom there, as we found it deplorable. Upon check in we were instructed not to leave ANY valuables/passports in the room, as it is not perfectly safe. I would never pay 50GBP a night again, if this is a reasonable price for that type of accomodation.

Horrible, horrible, horrible!!! The person at the front desk pretended that he knows nothing about my reservation and he has no rooms available. When I gave him the paper with reservation confirmation he started calling someone and finally he said that he has room for me. He said that the hotel accepts cash only and does not matter that I made reservation using my credit card. So I had to find an ATM to get cash to pay for the room. It was a tiny room in the basement. So tiny that it was no room for all my suitcases (only 4 for 3 persons). A bathroom was shared with people from 2 other rooms in this 3 bedroom apartment. When I confronted the person in the front desk about all this he just said “you have no other choice”. A person from another room who got there earlier had the same experience: front desk person pretended that he does not know about reservation and asked to pay cash. Front desk is closed from 11 p.m. until 8:30 a.m. I was lucky to get there before 11 p.m. I will never ever stay in this hotel and will not recommend anybody to stay there.

The man at the front desk asked for cash only. I then asked to see the room. The room was in very poor condition, curtains, partly hung, the bed was, lumpy and old and saggy, the top bed spread looked like it had never been cleaned, lights shades falling off, the bathroom was in disrepair tiles missing and dirty. We walked away from this property in disgust with the manager yelling at us, you must pay, you must pay. I would not ask any one to stay here. We have been traveling Europe for 9 weeks and this was our last night. We stayed in a number of Venere booked hotels but this one was just to much.We then had to try to find an other room which we did, we would have stayed in the airport rather than that room.

Despite the fact that the hotel is close to transport and shopping areas, the room was very poor not even close at all to hotel standards. You need a lot of work to improve the standards. The price did not match the room at all.

It is probably the cheapest option in London, and quality is related to the price: if you want stay for a long journey without spending so much, it is an acceptable solution. Please note that payments are required in advance, and only cash (credit cards are not acccepted).
