Only stayed for one night, but the room was beautiful, very comfortable, and had an excellent view of the falls. Facilities included a pool, indoor and outdoor hot tubs, fitness centre, restaurant (which we didn't use), gift shop, and the list continues. The pool was very nice, clean, and never too crowded. Same with the hot tubs. Would definitely stay here again!!!!!!!!!!

Room was a little smaller than I expected(especially the shower), but it was very nice and well kept. Awesome view of the American falls from the room. Excellent dining at the in house restaurant.

Although there was only one restaurant in the hotel, everything else, including the Falls was in a very short walking distance. I was very impressed with the Maid Staff. We had the DO NOT DISTURB sign on our door which eliminated the maid service. When we returned in the evening of our 2nd day, a bag was hung on the outside of the door filled with extra towels, coffee packets, etc. Quite a nice gesture !

All of the staff at the hotel were friendly and ready to assist. The room was comfortable and had a gorgeous view of the river. We could not see the falls per say, but could see the spray and it made me excited to leave the comfort of the hotel to walk the short distance to the falls. The location was excellent. We could walk to the falls in 5 minutes or downtown in less than 5 minutes. We swam in the pool and relaxed in the hot tub, both were at a perfect temperature. We searched around on the internet extensively before settling on this hotel. We specifically wanted two queen beds or connecting rooms as my husband and son are 6' 5" and my daughter and myself are both over 5' 8". This seemed to be the best value and proved to be so. We were very happy with the overall experience.

The hotel was very nice and clean. The beds were very comfortable but the pillows were too fat.

Hotel was very comfortable, rooms were kept very clean. Check in was fast and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Attractions were a little, but still within walking distance. Only complaint was that they only had 1 elevator working, making the wait for the elevator very long. The elevator was out the whole four days we were there, thought they would have fixed it within at least two days. Other than that hotel was pretty good. Would stay there again.

The hotel was great. It was in an excellent location, with in walking distance of the falls and the strip. I was kind of upset about the room, being that it was so called the Jr. Presidental Suite. It was nice but nothing really said Presidental. The staff was very nice and helpful. I really enjoyed the stay and the local attractions. I would recommend this hotel.

We enjoyed our stay at the Doubletree. The rooms were spacious and attractive. The beds were very firm and did not have a pillow top. The kids loved the pool which has a two tiered falls effect. The hotel is just outside the central fall areas but it's not an overly burdensome walk. We were a little surprised by the $10/day additional charge for outdoor parking.

The Doubletree lived up to its various web site descriptions regarding location, scenery, and other amenities. The front desk staff were very accommodating and resourceful. Other staff maintained cleanliness throughout the hotel. I especially enjoyed the spa aroma throughout the hotel, the hotel's safety lighting, the free copy of the newspaper delivered to each room and the sound proof rooms.

I wanted to say the service and people at the hotel were very helpful. We needed a room change because of a noisy neighbor and they found us another room right away and even moved our belongings while we went to breakfast! Also, I inadvertantly selected a movie which I had no intention of watching. They also removed this from my bill! The hotel was very nice, clean, comfortable --no complaints. I wanted a massage at the spa but they were already booked...the parking was a little tight and I don't feel any hotel should charge for parking! We were right in the middle between the Clifton Hill area and the newer Fallsview Casino.I would say the hotel is more family oriented but may have been so because of the Easter holiday. I was looking forward to quiet, rest and relaxation and feel like I got it. I would stay again.

I took a suite this time. Room was pretty decent size. I was expecting this to be a bit more colorfull. The living room had a sofa with a pull out bed, which is good for a family. You can have the kids sleep in the living while parents can use the other room. There were two TV's. My suggestion they should be upgraded to LCD.

Married 30+ years and wanted a relaxing few days. We tried different sites for prices and even called the hotel, where they said they didnt have space. Online travel website DID and we got a BEAUTIFUL Falls View King room on the 18th floor with a whirlpool tub. Very happy with the check-in, help with directions to places, walking a couple blocks to the casino. We did not walk to the Falls but could have in 20 minutes probably. We could see a full moon rise over the falls one night, and the illuminations (on a Friday we could have seen the fireworks), and the lightning from a thunderstorm one night lit up the entire Niagara Valley. There was a coffee pot in the room, unexpected. We took a late afternoon Maid of the Mist and saw rainbows galore in the falls mist! Enjoyed the Behind the Falls tour, and the beautiful flower gardens and greenhouses. Lots of 2 cent and nickle slots at the casino which was nice. Found that the casino buffet was actually cheaper than some of the "cheap" buffets since it included non alcoholic drinks. Parking is free at the casino if you have used your players card (even on slots), but is easy walking from the hotel. The elevators were fast in the hotel even if you are on teh 18th floor. Even if not an inexpensive hotel we felt we got our money's worth, enjoyed the outdoor hot tub as well as the indoor hot tub in the hotel, and our own whirlpool. Definitely would go again!!

Within walking distance to most of what niagara falls has to offer. Was a little displeased with the maintenance of the room (bathroom door constantly squeaked, and light bulbs needed to be replaced) which were quickly fixed. The biggest complaint was no mini fridge in the room and had to pay for parking at their hotel????

Generally I was pleased with the cleanliness of the room. The hallway carpeting is a little shabby and the shower curtains were moldy. And there was no fridge, not even a teeny tiny one. There are working mums who pump milk and need a place to store them --- the hotel might want to think about that. Brunch at $8++ was a little pricier for kids (especially is they are under 5 and don't eat much). But otherwise, the room was clean and beds comfortable.
