Wether you're in town for business or pleasure, you'll be very pleased with this hotel. Extremely courteous staff, GREAT location to TONS of SHOPPING and DINING and a 10 on the cleanliness scale! Would defnitely make this my one and only hotel when traveling back to Chicago!

The Doubletree was a nice hotel and generally meets my expectations and requirements as a business traveler. However, upon arrival the entrance and also portions of the lobby was under construction which was a little inconvenient.

Tthe front desk was very polite, friendly and accommodating. The warm chocolate cookie at checkin was delightful! Our checkout was very professionally handled and courteous. Our bathroom (floor) was dirty and also along the edges & corners there was dirt & hair. Other than the dirty bathroom floor the room was great and I would stay there again.

The only complaint we have is the hotel changed names from the time we booked til our arrival, this was confusing when we were confirming our booking; it would have been nice to have been contacted about the name change. Otherwise, the facilities were great, clean, friendly, helpfull staff, comfortable, and very accommodating. We met family from Michigan and had a wonderfull time visiting in our rooms and at the rooftop pool. Very kid friendly.

My daughter, grandaughter (age 8) and I enjoyed our stay at the Doubletree. Staf was excellent, the warm chocolate chip cookie hit the spot after our flight. Any questions we had were answered by the staff. The pool area was great and the rooms and beds were awesome. The location was very convienient, get familiar with the free trolley, it is your best friend. Take the boat tours, they were very informative, as were the trolley tours. Ask for the van to the airport, we took the blue line in from Ohare, and took a taxi from the Washington St. stop, not a bad choice, if you are traveling at a time that is not during rush hour, the ease of being driven to out airline's boarding area was a real plus when leaving. All in all- a great stay and a wonderful staff.

Nice renovated rooms. The lobby renovation is not complete. Will be nice once that is complete. Only having wireless Internet available in the lobby is a hassle. Especially early in the morning when there are bunch of people trying to work while everyone is checking out.

Perfectly situated between Michigan Avenue and The Navy Pier, about 3 blocks from each in between the two! Walking distance to ESPN Zone, John Hancock Building, etc.

Overall, our stay was excellent. We only had two issues. The first being the outrageously high parking garage fees. The second being the minibar - don't even touch the items or else you will be charged. The manager did remove charges from the bill however. I would recommend this hotel.

Enjoyed the size & the contemporary decor of the room. Hotel was within walking distance of Mag Mile & subway station (a longer walk, but still manageable). Great location if want to be close to shoreline & Mag Mile. Only complaint was that we weren't able to get a room with a nice city view - stuck on 6th floor.

The room was nice; the bathroom was clean. A couple of things that could have been better they could offer a smal refrigerator/microwave for guests. They did not have shower caps in bathroom (I had to request it), nor waste baskets in room (only the one in bathroom, which was a real pain with small children).

This was an excellent, comfortable room. Much more than I expected for 2 1/2 stars. The location was a little off, but only a couple blocks.

The room was spacious, decorated in modern fashion, clean, trendy. We loved the location of the Hotel, which was only 2 blocks from Michigan Avenue and in the heart of Chicago.
