Middle of the road hotel, nothing flash but clean and modern and does the job. Good location with about a 15-20 minute walk down Georges Street to the town centre, with plenty of bars and eating spots on the way. Free underground car parking is a bonus, with plenty of space for vans too.

This hotel was initially advertised as a 3 star hotel when I booked it. In reality, it is a 2 star budget experience, more suited for young travelers who don't mind walking for over half hour to get to the actual city center (Temple Bar). It is located in a very strange part of the city, which has a few scattered restaurants here and there but nothing of any particular interest. This is not a good hotel if you want to be within walking distance of main attractions. The hotel is also very noisy; with a bar/club in the courtyard of the hotel. The walls are not sound proof and you can hear a lot of the conversations both in the rooms next to you, as well as down in the courtyard.

excellent value for money and reception staff very welcoming, polite and helpful. location is ideal and not far from city centre, rds etc. will use this hotel again for sure.one minor complaint----liaison between reception and cleaners re when rooms are vacated would maybe prevent unexpected entries on unsuspecting guests.

On business in Dublin. Hotel well located for both city centre and south city. Hotel car park a major advantage. Staff very professional, helpful and friendly

Location was okay, about a 15 minute walk into the city. The room was spacious and nice, the staff were somewhat friendly. Upon check-in they didn't seem to have our reservation, but solved the problem. We didn't get much sleep as the hotel is beside a nightclub and our room sounded like it was on the dancefloor! The fire alarm went off a few times during the night. The other guests in the hall were loud. Dublin is a fantastic city, but this hotel I would not recommend or at least ask for a quite room if any.

Stayed here for the weekend, booked through lastminute.com and got the room really cheap. Reception was slow to serve but when we got to our room we were really surprised to find we had been given a suit. Room was large with a seperated bedroom and a small kitchen area. Room was clean and plenty of tea making facilities. When you stay here you recieve free entry into the nightclub next door called tramps. We went on the saturday and enjoyed it. Plenty of amenities near by but the hotel can be difficult to find so make sure you have a map before hand. We have stayed here twice and will do in the future, very nice hotel. Cannot comment on food, have not eaten in hotel bar.

The hoyel staff , from the front desk to the cleaning staff were freindly helpful and happy. The hotel is a little bus ride from the centre so you are away from the busiest centre areas. But as Ireland is quite pricey it elft to enjoy the local restaurants and genuine local Irish bars that were not rammed with tourists. Ther is also free entry to the trather trendy Tram co club that is next door so not far to stagger home if athat is your thing. I thoroughly enjoyed this stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone. Bus stop is outised and taxis are abundance so geting about from there is easy.

Due to work we didn't eat in the hotel, but as of the hotel in general i'm sure the food would be as good as the service and rooms

This is a tired budget hotel in a not-very-nice part of Dublin, some way from the centre, and with loud disco music to hamper your sleep. I would pay a little more next time to stay somewhere less depressing.

The cupboard, sorry I mean room was very "compact" and there was a lot of noise from the Air Handling Units located outside the window. Other than that fairly good value for money.

Don't stay here if you want to be near the city centre - it is some way into town. Also, there is a very noisy nightclub within the hotel. We wouldn't have stayed here if we had known this.

The hotel was very OK. We got a big room at the backside because I have asked for a quiet room. The room was huge and there was a salon with TV besides - almost like a 2 rooms flat. Very quiet and in good conditions. The only thing the room missed was a fridge. We ate at a very nice newly opened italian restaurant across the street. Very good food and top interior and service. Not very expensive. The walk to city center from the hotel is about half an hour. The bus goes all the time directly to town just outside the hotel. Only one euro with bus - about 8 euro with taxi. Dublin was a very nice expierience. I really liked the hotel and I will definitely come back very soon.

Hotel is reasonable value for Dublin - main benefit is free secure parking. Can be a noise problem, especially from adjoining nightclub but also from courtyard smoking area, air con. units & street noise. Food just about OK - evening menu hasn't changed in probably 3 years & breakfast dishes can "run out" one or two hours before end of service - probably better value available in many nearby cafes
