Days Inn Vancouver Metro was a good tourist class motel to stay at with good parking for vehicles. The advertised breakfast was a $2.00 Mc. Donalds voucher! Mc. Donalds is right next door. This was the only disappointment.

DaysInn was just what I wanted. I know very little about the layout of Vancouver, BC downtown area. The front desk was so helpful in telling me where places were localed and how to get there by city bus and taxi. I arrived early and there was no problem in checking in immediately so I had free time to explore the city. The room was plain and clean and all that I needed.

It's 3am, between the constant ticking of something in the wall, the paper thin walls letting me hear the hooker down a floor and over 2 rooms doing whatever it is she's doing down there, the growning of the floor at every step by me or the people above me take, and the constant fear of my rental car being broken into, I am being kept from getting any sleep tonight.I was supposed to be having a nice relaxing get away with my wife and have paid for and planned on staying here for 2 nights. I am checking out first thing in the morning and finding somewhere else to stay. This has been my WORST experience at any hotel EVER.Have not been impressed by the staff at the front desk either during check in, or with keeping an eye on whats going on at night.

Rooms are clean; the building is a bit old. Free internet (wired) in room. Complimentary breakfast coupons at next door Mac Donalds. The entry to the car park is very narrow and can be difficult for big cars. The bathrooms are very tiny and have no bath tubs. The bed was comfortable.Staff were friendly and helpful.Quite OK for the rate we paid. Nothing great; nothing too bad either. An OK sort of place. Its in a good location with lots of restaurants nearby. Will definitely consider this place for 1 or 2 days stay in future.

The rooms are dark and has not all that clean feel to it. Parking entrance is very tight and only smaller cars will fit through. Some of the rooms are towards the busy street, so you have constant traffic noise at night. The neighborhood doesn't feel all that safe or clean either.

The "complimentary" breakfest that they advertise is nothing more then a 2 coupon for Mcdonalds. That won't even get you a hashbrown and coffee nevermind a whole breakfest.Staff at the front desk seemed to have not been surprised at all at the issue's I had with my stay. The hooker showing up at 2am seemed like a normal occourance to them. The "suite" that I had asked about upgrading to when I first checked into that were booked solid all week already suddenly became available at no extra charge when I had something to complain about.

I loved the garden courtyard and our room was comfortable. There was no restaurant on site, just a McDonald's next door, but the front desk made several near by recommendations, and we really enjoyed our dinner. It was an easy drive to downtown.

We stayed there on our way to Whistler. It was value for money for sure. However, we drive, so the location was not an issue. As faras the breakfast in McDonald's, we did not mind at all. Each of us got a CDN 2 coupon for the breakfast. Comparing to other motels the offers nothig, we thought it was a nice gesture. The rooms are very clean and well kept. It was also quiet at night so we got good rest. The front desk staffs hardly smiled but they were efficient. Bathroom is on a small side and would definitely present a challenge if your are on the large side. Overall, it was money for value and I would go back again!

Good value for the money. A bit out of the way on Kingsway, but that's okay. It had free wireless, which I suppose is becoming standard now, but was still both good and necessary.

The room is small and the breakfast is junk. The female manager doesn't seem to care or be helpful to customer at all, when I complaint about problem with the breakfast. Dont take this hotel into your consideration.

The hotel was very nice and pleasant. They had a beautiful courtyard and garden. The desk staff was very nice and helpful. The only bad thing about the hotel was the location. It was a 15-30 minute bus ride and 10-15 minute skytrain ride into downtown.

Days Inn on Kingsway's is a good, basic travelers motel - perfectly acceptable. Nothing fancy except the immaculately tended courtyard between the interior-facing room entrance doors. Parking lot has large theft warnings, but video at front desk monitors parking lots. McDonalds next door as well as many Chinese and Indian restaurants. Kingsway is a very busy street, but motel is pretty quiet and entry/exit was easy. Good water flow and hot water in the bathroom, although there was no fan for venting. Lots of in-room conveniences like fridge, coffee-maker and microwave. No breakfast room, but McDonalds was ok for breakfast. We labeled the court-yard the "Genesis Cave" (from Star-trek 'the wrath of Khan')

Located minutes away from Downtown Vancouver, this hotel offers the luxury of avoiding the city rush while being close to all the action. Hotel staff is very helpful in recommending things to do in the city if you're new in town. Be prepared to have enough credit on you credit card during your stay because the hotel security holds on your credit card will take up to 8 days to clear, which might leave you short of funds.
