Very poorly equipped and maintained. No clock radios in bedrooms. Huge old-fashioned Toshiba TV. Horrid shower curtain. Had to ask for towels. Check-in not satisfactory. Nightmare parking.

This was a great little place tucked away but actually very close to the city centre. If we had known we could have jumped off at Oxford Road station and almost walked in the front door! (However you cant really hear the trains at all) Would certainly consider using this place again.

River st Apts were not signposted at all, difficult to find. When contacting hotel staff member was unhelpfull and it was very clear they didnt want to help. There was dirt and an empty crisp packet behind the couch therefore hadnt been cleaned. There was also an empty bottle of evian underneath the bed in the main bedroom. Two of the glasses in the cupboard had lipstick marks on them therefore I had to wash all the dishes vefore using them. I was phoned in the morning of my arrival and was told to phone when I got to hotel and someone would come and meet me, this did not happen!

The apartment was in a great location, right by Oxford Road train station and with easy access to evrything in the city. It was spacious and adequately equipped, bed linen and towels were of good quality. A little attention to detail would be an improvement eg bare light bulbs need shades, some bulbs need replacing. This quality of the apartment was marred by atrocious customer service. We were asked to pick up the keys from an office location across the city but when we got there at 3pm on Thursday it had shutters up and was closed.I telephoned the number on the booking to be told the number was not operational and to call another number. We did this only to be told that the keys were in the apartment and we should go there then phone again to gain access. We then had to negotiate city centre traffic back again. All in all this wasted well over an hour of our precious time and was totally unaccceptable. We were never told how to check out so simply left the keys in the apartment and left. No apology was given for this total lack of customer service and the agent on the phone did not seem to think they had created a problem, more training in customer care is obviously needed if they are to compete in an international market.

Apartments not easy to find on foot and beware that there are two River Streets in Manchester. Excellent customer service from CityServe, their rep met us at the apartment and made sure everything was OK for us. The 2 bed apartment was smartly decorated and clean and had everything we needed for our one night stay - it would be ideal for longer stays too. Four of us stayed in the apartment making it excellent value for money.

Overall the apartment was in clean and well presented. The location was good with only a short walk to some of the shops and bars etc. Very handy for our group as the club we were meeting at was over the road so no taxis to worry about. Only slight problem with the door key as this had appeared to have been bent and didn't fit the lock easily.

Was in a really good location, although you need to find parking on a meter, which was fairly easy. Lovely apartment, only thing that could be improved is the carpet in the main bedroom and tiles in bathroom's looked a bit tired and could do with replacing. Otherwise great area and lovely apartment.

The apartment was a little hard to find as River Street is not an actual street you can drive down. However, it was a really great location and the guy who picked up the keys was so nice and helpful. Could do with a few more glasses etc, but overall for the money it was really good quality.

Overall a good choice for our night out in Manchester, but make sure you call the number in plenty of time to get the keys, as I forgot and was left standing outside for half an hour!

Apartment Block was fairly hard to find as there is no signage out front. Apartment itself was really nice, great decor, tidy and a great space. Very convenient city location - easy to walk everywhere.

I spent a night at the River Street Apartments as I was taking customers out and thought it was easier than getting taxis.I got the apartment for a great price and to be honest, I would pay more. We where met by the owner who took us into the apartment and showed us around. It was great. Clean, Smart and really modern and cosy. I would definatley stay here again.
