Restaurant Château St. Gerlach
The restaurant is open from 18:30 till 21:00. Three reception rooms in the former living quarters of the aristocratic family now feature a top-quality, à la carte restaurant. Each space is furnished in its own distinctive manner and in full harmony with the original painted walls and ceilings.
The comprehensive menu is oriented towards French cuisine – and our renowned wines perfectly complement the dishes. On sunny days, the splendid patio is also a great place to dine out.
Bistrot de Liège
The bistro is open from 12:00 till 20:30. Baron de Selys de Fanson was the Château St. Gerlach’s last resident. His kitchen, dining room and reception room have now been transformed into the cosy Bistrot de Liège.
The authentic paving stones, the antique stove and an original Liège-style pantry in the open kitchen are responsible for much of the Bistrot’s unique ambience. In this informal place you can enjoy a week menu, light dishes from the region or simply have a cup of coffee.

A free shuttle service from the airport is available to guests between 9 AM and 9 PM (subject to availability). Alternatively, taxis are available from outside the terminal building and should cost around 25 EUR for a trip to the hotel.
From the airport follow the A2 motorway south as far as exit (afslag) 51 Meerssen/Valkenburg/Bunde/Beatrixhaven. At the end of the exit slip road is a roundabout. Take the third exit from the roundabout in the direction of Meerssen/Valkenburg/Maastricht. At the next roundabout (approximately 200 metres) turn right towards Meerssen/Valkenburg/Maastricht and at the third roundabout (approximately 200 metres) go straight on. Follow this road for about two kilometres until the next roundabout, where you carry straight on in the direction of Valkenburg/Heerlen. After approximately 400 metres turn left onto the A79 in the direction of Valkenburg/Heerlen. Take exit 2 for Meerssen/Houthem and turn left at the end of the exit slip road in the direction of Houthem/Valkenburg.
