| Hotel Staff are so friendly & helpful, specially one of security staff was looking after me quite well while I was running out my medication (diabetes tablets). At 10pm, he got the taxi and instructed taxi driver to take me to the pharmacy for getting tablets for me. I was so impressed. This was my first trip to Bangkok. Surely, I would go back to Asia hotel next time. |

| My 15 year old son & I stayed at the Asia Hotel in November 2007. This being our first time out of Australia and being a single woman travelling with a teenage boy did on occassions present with some difficult situations. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. They had a great sense of humour when my son was locked out of our room in his wet swimmers and wandered down to the main foyer to look for me dripping water everywhere. We also had an incident where we were being hassled by a TukTuk driver every time we ventured outside. I mentioned this to a doorman and that was the end of the matter. Breakfast each day was a gourmet's delight which my son and I thoroughly enjoyed. It was included in our room rate which was also very resonably priced. All the staff we encountered spoke some english and were able to direct us to more fluent staff members when necessary. Yes, we have vowed to return with my husband in the near future so that he also may experience the friendly hospitality of the Asia Hotel, the Thai people and others that work within it's walls. The Asia Hotel was a wonderful begining to our adventures in Thailand. |

| Good location.
Fantastic access to Sky train via level 2 of the actual hotel.
Good value breakfast at Tivolli restaurant in foyer. Information desk helpful, could tell us where most things were or how to get to them.
2 pools - one lap-ish, one nice family, sunbathing type pool.
Front desk girls felt like only main down fall, you stand at desk for ten minutes not even being looked at or talked to so you dont know if things are ok or not and then they just look up and either give you a key or your check out slip?
Also tv channels not great, i know no one stays in hotels in thailand to watch tv but some days after a big night you just want to chill out and familes like it for the kids and it only has 2 english channels unlike some other BKK hotels that have more like 10...
7-11 just outside, round corner, and very easy access to tuktuks and taxi and mini bus.
Have already recommended it to family visiting so i would recommend it to you. |

| The location is very good if you intend to do some shopping and like to go to other places. Easy access to the skytrain. The free breakfast and cable TV could use some improvement. All in all, it was ok. I'd stay there again if I go back to Bangkok. |

| We stayed in a standard room compared to friends that stayed in a ** room. Felt it was pretty good value. Except in their deal they were told they would get breakfast and they didnt. But the restaurant downstairs is pretty good value. Both rooms were pretty simial, the other room just had a few 'special' amenities ie bottles bath & shower gel, razor, soap, robes to wears.
Rooms have personal safes, which is a bit of an added bonus if you like the added security
Great access to skytrain from level 2 of hotel.
Would stay here again and would recommend it and would look for their hotels in other locations of thailand also, so overall we thought it was good. |

| This hotel was adequate for our needs. When we stay in Bangkok we just need a clean room and facilities and these are exactly that. It's well located near MBK and the other shopping centres which is handy. I'd suggest the hotel could do with an overhaul, it looks like it was opened in 1960 and nothing has been updated. Having said that, if you're looking for a clean, neat room with a good locale, this is the hotel for you. |

| We stayed at this hotel as it was reccommended, the staff were unpleasant and gave us a dirty room when we arrived. The hotel car service charges what ever they feel like and they tried to rip us off on the fare even though we had taken the same route with them before. The expreience overall left me very angry and dissappointed. |

| For this price, this is not very good hotel. You can find much better value for your money in Bangkok. Good location though. |

| More and more, Asia Hotel resembles a bus terminus - it is so busy all the time! Check-in and check-out remains chaotic, sometimes they make mistakes in charges so please check your bills before paying. The rooms we stayed in (Deluxe) were good and refurbished recently. I've stayed here before and will definitely stay again for its excellent location and good rates. Staff also understand more English than in other hotels. |

| The hotel was very busy when we arrived, so it took a while to register. We arrived earlier than our book-in time and were able to check into out room which was great as we were able to freshen up before heading out again.
The location is ideal, can get straight to the skytrain, and plenty of taxis around the area.
The internet facilities are very expensive to use and would recommend finding an internet cafe somewhere on the street. I noticed a few nearby, but had to use the hotels as we had a problem with our reservation and needed to reprint our voucher.
Apart from that the hotel was good value for money and would use again. |

| In the past I've always stayed in backpacker guest houses and this is the first time I chose to stay in a hotel in Bangkok, so I'm unable to comment on value for money compared with other Bangkok hotels, however would recommend the Asia Hotel. The staff are excellent and very polite and helpful. The room was a good size with good facilities and well cleaned daily. I only ate one meal in the hotel which was good. The location is good, about 10 minutes walk from Siam Square and the Sky Train station linked to the hotel is very handy. There are 2 pools, I've only seen one but it's nice and perfect to relax around after a day's shopping or sightseeing. |

| Hotel is situated conveniently next a BTS station, and just one stop away from crowded Siam Square/MBK shopping area. Every night in the hotel basement, there is a entertaining song and dance show (Calypso Cabaret) by katoeys, a little expensive at 1200 bht, but the "ladies" are well-trained and hv good upkeep of personal appearance. Good clean fun.......Personal advice : stay clear of the Patpong "special" shows - quite a lot of them overcharge and they keep pestering for tips. |
