Single room was small but washroom had good size and hot water.Good air conditioning which was important as street was noisy until late at night so needed to keep windows closed. Very good buffet breakfast. Lobby small and smells of cigarettes as there are people smoking there at all times.Only 1 decrepit elevator to access rooms. No sports facilities or swimming pool.

we stayed 6 nights and found the location, the size of the room and the helpfullness of the staff very good.the area surrounding the hotel is quite nice...the common area of the hotel is very small as the hotel forms only part of the overall uilding on the 5th floor. we had a car so parking at 20 euros a day does make it a bit expensive.

I loved the hotel. The staff was superb. The only draw back for U.S.citizens is the euro and the weak dollar exchange.

We really enjoy staying at this hotel. Very central location, Viennese atmosphere; wonderful breakfast!...and the best was our room, we were celebrating our first marriage anniversary and we got a large room, VERY comfortable…with an incredible bath room, splendid!( Ask for Room number 15) As negative points the common spaces are a bit tight; the hotel reception is very small, not enough place to sit down in a comfortable place if you want. The breakfast room is a bit close, is underground room without so much ventilation.Something important is that we woke up very early because the curtains were not enough to get a dark room in the morning

Nice hotel within walking distance of main square. The only problem was that the room locked with a key. When I went down to breakfast my wife stayed in the room and I had to lock the door from the outside. This meant she could not get out of the room in the event of an emergency. After the first day she kept the room locked from the inside and I had to knock on the door for her to open it. We had three nice days in Vienna.

Excellent hotel. Great location - walking distance to all city center attractions. Ten minute walk to subway. The room was immaculate and large and the price was reasonable. Highly recommend this hotel.

I thought the location was excellent for the price and the fact that they had a small outdoor sitting area on the sidewalk was greato to observe Vienna pass by. Breakfast was excellent and the public lounge area was up to par although the smoking bothered me as it was a small area. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would consider staying there if we return.

Location is the main advantage of the Am Schubertring Hotel, providing easy access to any central spot, either on foot or by trams 1 and 2. We were a little disappointed by the breakfast. Coffee is not great, and that's a shame for a Viennese hotel, and as for the chocolate, well, you prepare it yourself with warm milk and cocoa powder. The rooms are fine, though, and the staff quite helpful.

We were very pleased with our stay. Our room was hard to find, we turned many corners, and it was situated far from the lift, this was the only inconvenience. We would use this hotel again
