Very helpful staff in a small hotel, excellent breakfast buffet, and good value meals available untill 23:30 hrs. Near Metro and bus stops into and out of the centre of Athens, which is only a pleasant 20 minute walk away (and ten minutes walk to Licavitos Hill).

We stayed at this Hotel for the first time and we really enjoyed their facilities and services. Triple room was good enough for three people and free buffet style breakfast was very helpful because most hotels charge at least 12EURO for same level quolity meal. We would like to come back next time ,too.

The delicious breakfast and the atmospheric breakfast room are the best parts of the hotel and this makes morning dining a very memorable experience. However, some provisions of the room like the hair dryer has been out of order for a long time and there has been no reporting of such things to the hotel management ever and so problems like this last forever and force users of the hotel to downgrade its quality. Also what a pity that there is no swimming pool when Athens is so hot in summer. I wish the management would constantly read reviews like this to improve their services.

Great value for your money. The hotel is located near the American embassy and is in one of the better neighborhoods. It is a short walk from the metro(5 min). The room we got was at the top floor and it seems they started cleaning the rooms at the top first, because every morning when we went for our breakfast they started to clean our room. So after a couple of days i got a little tired of that and put the "do not disturb" sign on the door, and after that it wasn't a problem anymore. Breakfast was ok, they had bread, yogurt cheese, egg, bacon jam and other typical cold cuts. The restaurant in the hotel was also ok, no gourmet restaurant but the prices are good and the menu had something for everyone. I would recommend it for people that want a comfortable and clean hotel, but don't want to pay too much.

The only drawback was the same song all over again every breakfast, but we had a very pleasant stay. Close to embassies, Music Hall and Metro station (Megaro Mussikis).

Stayed one night on our way back from the islands. Very friendly, welcoming and competent staff. Nice central setting, off the street behind a tiny church so there was very little street noise (even in a city where early morning mopeds cannot be silenced...). The hotel was lovely even if the interior decorator had got a bit carried away, for our minimal tastes! Also an opulent breakfast. We'd stay there again.

The hotel location is very good. Hotel staffs are polite and kind. Rooms are clean and air-conditioned. Breakfast is very good. My wife and I were very satisfied with Hotel Alexandros, and will return to this hotel if we visit Athens again.

We stayed at Alexandros Hotel for the second consecutive year (4 nights in total)and everything was just perfect. Very comfortable and nicely decorated rooms, good breakfast, quiet/secure environment close to underground. Parking slot offered for free in the garage, and we were upgraded to a junior suite.

The employees were very friendly and helpful. The room was the Golden Suite, but even if it was spacious and clean, the quality didn't correspond to a Suite in a 4 star hotel: very old carpet and furniture. It has to be refurbished. The door between toilette and sleeping room was of transparent glass which is also not really a nice thing! In comparison to the price/quality relationship was not good but the position is good since it is just 5 minutes walk from the metro station and the surroundings of the hotel are good and safe. Personell very nice and good breakfast.

Generally the service was good and even the room has been nice with an excellent view to Lycabettus Hill. It was even quiet as it lies behind another hotel. But ... it takes more than 4 minutes to come from the metro station to the hotel and I just had breakfast twice and every time the waiters didn't even ask me for coffe as the did with the other guests. The juices at the breakfast have been terrible.

Hotel Alexandros was a great place to stay. The hotel is located off a very busy street but once inside you could not hear the street traffic. The hotel staff was very accomodating, breakfast was plentiful and the metro is a short walk away. The hotel is easy to get to via metro from the airport-save your money and take the metro-no transferring of lines. I would stay at this hotel again!

The staff were all very friendly and extremely helpful. The hotel is not walking distance to the main part of Athens but the Metro is very close. Taxi fair into the city was around 5 euro which is cheap also. The hotel interior is quite nice but the room we had was a little dated. Overall I would stay there again but compared to the Georgio in the centre of the city the rooms were not as nice. Clean and hygenic which is all you need and TV worked with enough channels.

Alexandros is a small hotel located in a good and safe location just off the Vasilissis Sofias (Leoforos) Road behind a small chapel. It is 200m away from the American Embassy and 400m away from the Megaro Moussikis metro station. It was easy and cheap to get there from the airport using the Metro (just 5 Euros)and the walkway from the tube station to the hotel was wide and easy to roll your luggage. I used the hotel as a no frills alternative to staying at the expensive Hilton hotel down the road when attending a week long conference at the Hilton. The room is clean and tidy with good breakfast provided. Good value for the price. Highly recommended if you dont need a swimming pool to cool down in the heat. The air conditioning in the room can be improved as it got a bit too warm even when the air condition was turned down to minimum in the afternoons. Also the carpets are a bit worn and needs changing. Staff are helpful and friendly

Nice hotel of 6 floors, not in the best are of Athens. Nice welcoming: the employees speak more then 4 EU languages and they are really friendy. Nice room with a poor view. Excellent breakfast. Good hotel if you want to spend there 3 days. Weeknesses: NO AR CONDITION IN THE PASSAGE of the hotel. Ok in the room.

We enjoyed our stay at the Alexandros Hotel. The price was fair (89 euros a night). The breakfast was good and the location was convenient for our needs. The bus stop and metro were both in walking distance. It was easy to find. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A very good experience overall. Hotel Alexandros met our expectations indeed.
