I was disappointed with the appearance of the hotel interior in general. This is the old 60's look, with metal doors and surface mounted pipes. The bathroom is so small, you'd better be a slim person to move around in there. We had a family room and room service did NOT clean/service the 2nd bedroom. If you are an older person, you will want to catch the U-Bahn to get to your tourist attractions. Not really nearby. The street block right adjacent to the hotel accommodates street prostitutes. Breakfast was ok. I will NEVER stay at this hotel again.

Avoid this property! This is the worst hotel I've stayed in in 30 years of traveling to Berlin. The location and facilities are not as they advertise. The hotel is in a dicey area of Berlin and has prostitutes (both male and female) on the street in front of the hotel at night. The hotel is located next to the elevated rail tracks and is noisy all night. There is no air ventilation in the rooms and the windows must be left open to circulate air. If you have a problem, there is no one in the hotel with authority to fix the problem. They offer you a free drink coupon and say the problem is resolved! The hotel will rip you off at every opportunity in the bar, the restaurant, and with the pay TVs. Avoid this hotel and all others in the Agon group.

A budget hotel offering budget facilities and rooms. Room was quite clean, however the hotel had the feel of a backpackers hostel as it was very crowded. Price and location were quite good, within easy walking distance of the subway.

Very reasonable performance ratio. What you offer is what I got. I would like to utilize your net of hotels in future.

Good location as it is very clsoe to S-bahn station BulowStrasse. Breakfast is ample and good quality. Room is clean though the shower cubicle is a bit small. Housekeeping staff is polite.

The rooms at the Hotel Agon must be paper thin because we heard yelling and screaming and what sounded like doors slamming and running down the corridors until late, late into the night. Eventually fell asleep so don't know when it stopped. I felt like I was in a college dorm. No management enforced quiet. Also, the staff was abrupt. It's unfortunate that the staff reinforced the German stereotype of being abrupt and unfriendly.

We enjoyed our stay, the breakfast offered each morning was wonderful. My only concern was the noice from the elevators. Late night people coming to their rooms were very loud and the noise echoed down the halls. But overall, it was good and we would stay again.

Me & my wife enjoy to stay there, big room for us. Also near to train station. If we go to Berlin again next time, we'll stay there.

I enjoyed my stay in this hotel, could recommend Agon Aldea to friends and book it again if I visit in Berlin again - a good value! Nothing extra there like a gym but a very good basic hotel with nice staff, good buffet breakfast included and I was also allowed to have a later check-out free of charge!

1. Bed too narrow and mattress too soft for comfortable sleep. 2. Small bathroom. Bathroom sink extremely small.

The hotel is 3 stars superior (not 4 as indicated). It is anyway a good hotel with large and clean rooms, even if the structure is not brand new and sometimes the room forniture is not in perfect conditions. The hotel employees are really competent. The hotel is also very near to a station of underground line U2, which touches the most touristic places of Berlin. The hotel surroundings are maybe the only negative aspect: the zone is not very nice especially at night. Anyway we never had feeling of danger and the underground station is very near the hotel. We payed 50 euros a double room and for this price is a really excellent choice.

The staff at the desk at check-in was great. He assisted with parking, recommending not to use the hotel's lot. Also was great with directions for the next day's excursion. The location seems questionable with the busy road and the working girls on the corner, but if you walk one block over, there's a very pleasant restaurant and bar area. We are very seasoned travelers of Europe and don't expect much, so this hotel is perfect for our style. The breakfast is way over priced, don't bother. There are bakeries and coffee shops everywhere.
