The Affinia was a excellent choice. It was located in such a convenient location in the heart of Streeterville downtown section of Chicago. The interior spaces were beautifully designed. The amenities such as the fitness room, the C-House restaurant with excellent food & the C-View roof top lounge with spectacular views made the stay an incredible experience! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is visiting Chicago.

We booked this hotel as a last minute vacation planned on doing a little shopping and nightlife downtown. We where woken up at 6:00 in the morning with our bathroom flooded, this water was brown and all the clothing and our belongings left in the bathroom were dirty and sopping wet. We where moved to another room, but it was smaller then the orginal room we had gotten and paid for. The next day the housekeeping service never even came to change our sheets, coffee or towels, which is just horrible service. The service along with the orginal room where perfect, but we do not plan on ever spending another weekend in that flooding hotel.

Affinia was a hip and happening hotel, from everything from the 'do no disturb' signs to the rooftop bar...the staff were extremely friendly, the concierge were very knowledgable and helpful! The pillow menu was interesting. The location was excellent, adjacent to Neiman Marcus and a minute from the Magnificent Mile... Bathrooms were a bit small, but other than that, it was awesome, definately would stay again!

The ambiance and decor were very high end. The concierges were all extremely helpful and friendly. I can't imagine paying any more for a different place because I can't imagine what could've been better. Didn't want to leave!

We loved the Affinia. We found the room very spacious and clean. The staff was exceptional. Even though construction was in progress, we weren't bothered by it. There is no restaurant, but the staff has water and chips available. Don't waste your time eating at the restaurant next door, it was awful. Phil Stefani's is the place to go, within walking distance. We would love to stay at the Affinia again, the location is perfect. We felt safe walking every where. Loved it.

I would not stay at this hotel again, the staff tried to play you for tips by passing you off to another person (more than twice). Rooms were nice and clean. We travel all over NY, LA and many other place and not treated as we were in this Chicago hotel.

The front desk and door employees were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The restaurant was not fully operating during our time in Chicago. Wonderful location and quiet, even with some adjacent construction work and a hugh thunderstorm.

The Affinia Hotel Chicago was great. We stayed in a Junior Suite and I was blown away by the space. I have stayed in rooms in New York, Boston, Atlanta, San Francisco, etc., for about the same money and they were nowhere near as big as this room. In fact, this room was probably twice the size of those other rooms. The service at the hotel was superb and all of the staff as friendly and helpful as you would expect. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that the hotel was 7 blocks or so from the nearest working EL train station. This wouldn't normally be the case, but the Red Line Train in the Loop was under construction. Otherwise, the location was great, just a block off Michigan Avenue. I would definitely stay at the Affinia again, and I would highly recommend it to any of my friends.

Had a fun girls weekend away in Chicago. The hotel was under construction, but it did not hinder our trip. Excellent location for shopping and dining. Staff was very friendly. The construction will continue for a period of time, but I would imagine the prices will increase as the ammenities increase. No soft drink machines or restaurant. The receptionist gave us free water bottles and snacks anytime we were interested. Beds were very comfy. Had a refrigerator and coffee maker in the room. Didn't make it to the pool, but I believe it's under construction. Would recommend this to friends due to location and price friendly for downtown Chicago. Gino's East is next door and a bakery is just down the street for lunch and breakfast. Many options for dinner within walking distance. Recommend the Hancock Building lounge for sunset cocktail hour.

Nice room, comfortable, enjoyed the location. The room was a little noisy we were located next to the staff supply room. So early in the morning we heard the door being open and shut a lot.

Once refurbished it will be a good hotel. Presently it's not bad for the star rating but dated.

This hotel was being remodeled inside, but the construction wasn't distracting while sleeping or resting. Great pizza next door literally next door. Room service was great and super nice. The location was about a 15 second walk to the Magnificent Mile. I wouldn't mind staying at this hotel again in the future

Went to Chicago to see the Bears. Hotel is under construction, so there's no room service, bar, etc. The room was awesome (newly remodeled on the 14th floor). People at the front desk were extremely courteous and helpful in finding restaurants, taxis, etc. Hotel is in great location, next to Gino's East Pizza and one block from the Mich. Ave. I would stay again, only after the hotel remodel is completed. Highly recommend!

The room was really nice and the staff was great! They gave us tips about where to go and places around to eat. The roof top bar was really nice and the view was amazing. the location was perfect too. It is a block off the mile so shopping and lots to do was right there but it wasn't as loud as staying at a hotel right on the mile. The bus line ran right on the mile so that was great too. Also two of the best deep dish pizza places where within easy walking distance (one of them was right next door and the other was a block or two away). The only down side to our stay was that there was no free wireless internet which was a pain. Other than that the stay was great.
